Snowboarding at Heavenly Ski Resort in South Lake Tahoe

We bought our Heavenly Ski Resort season passes that's good for Heavenly, North Star, and Sierra weeks ago, but we've been so busy with work that we finally got to snowboard just this last Sunday.  Our family came up to visit us from the Bay Area, so we all headed to Heavenly.

It was a gorgeous day with blue skies and the temperture was like spring time.  It was a perfect day.  The views were phenamonial, we had great company, it was a perfect day, the snow was great...what more can we say?  Snowboarding at Heavenly Ski Resort is just heavenly.

Did You Know You Can Ski For Free in Lake Tahoe?!

That's right, you can ski for free in Lake Tahoe with a purchase of a Tahoe license plate.  Here's how...

The new non-profit Tahoe Fund has partnered with 9 Lake Tahoe area ski resorts in California and Nevada to offer a free lift ticket with a purchase of a Tahoe license plate. 

The sale of the license plate will help fund for lakefront parks, bike trails, interpretive programs and other tangible projects that will help enhance the Lake Tahoe experience for residents and visitors.
